Technology & board games have always been closely linked. Crowdfunding & online communities have done so much for the board gaming hobby, this month we’re taking the time to celebrate them.
New Game! Broken and Beautiful: A Game About Kintsugi. We’re excited to be the first place you can play this game anywhere!
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of using golden lacquer to repair broken pottery.
In Broken and Beautiful, players draft pottery cards like bowls, cups, and tea jars to create high-scoring sets.
However, pottery will break becoming worthless… but players can repair the shattered pieces, making their value greater than when they were new.
Broken and Beautiful is available on Kickstarter now, but you can play it all month on Sovranti for free. We’re proud to support another local, indie publisher during their campaign.
